Grocery stores around here are pushing the canvas bags, which I use happily instead of plastic. This is a sort of recycle/eco-friendly thing to do, right? I didn't use a bag, by the way. So why is it, that when I purchase TWO things: 
my receipt looks like it has taken the life of a tree? 
18 inches of wasted paper for a gallon of milk and cookies?
Can't ya print that other crap on the back instead of repeating the ads that I don't know who actually uses four times on one receipt?
